Dr. Bryce is a Fellow at SIFT and conducts research on human-aware AI, automated planning, and verification, as well as their applications to life sciences and other fields. He is an expert in AI planning, having developed approaches for scaling planning under uncertainty. He has led projects on experimental planning in laboratory science, and is the chair of the Bioprotocols working group that develops the Laboratory Open Protocol (LabOP) standard for laboratory protocols. His current work addresses representation and reasoning for processes in life sciences, epidemiology, cybersecurity, and astrophysics.
